105 x 79 cm Daily DeviationGiven 2008-05-02Self perception, the way we see our selves through our minds eye, is one of the most challenging subjects to the artist, because one has to battle the fear of baring our soul to the world to see, and sometimes the things that we see about ourselves we may not like or our perceptions of us may be twisted by other realities around us. self-potrait. weak skin by ~Riinunen is honest work, where the artist sheds the masks, layers of the skin, to try to unearth one beneath that has been hidden and lost for long time. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
